Photo: Washed Out
Well, most of this weekend’s visit to Door County, WI was a washout thanks to a ton of rain.
I did manage to go up for my aerial shoot, but more on that later in the week. We did get about two hours to shoot on Saturday, but for now, I thought I’d just put the rain in focus for now.

Autumn snuck up on us pretty fast here in Chicago, and it’s about that time when all the leaves start to change color and make their way to the ground.
I’d like to say that I went out and shot this scene over the weekend, but alas it was from last year when I was still testing out my new Canon Rebel XSi. If possible, I’d like to get out to the forest preserve again on Sunday, but our weekend is starting to fill up rather quickly, as usual.
The following weekend, we’ll be heading back to Door County, WI, so that will ensure I have much more time to shoot. It will be our first trip up there during the month of October, so we’ll see if I’m too late for most of the fall colors that far north. Besides, I heard they already had snow this passed Monday.
